In 2001 Jonty was invited by Yachting World to join the judging panel for the Concours d'Elegance at the 150th America's Cup Jubilee, helping to review the finest fleet of classic sailing yachts ever to be gathered at Cowes.

The three yachts selected as Concours d'Elegance winners were the
Hereshoff schooner 'Mariette', the Hinkley 'Valhalla' and the IACC yacht 'America Cubed'.
